Descriptions

Katyayani Verticillium Lecanii is a Bio Insecticide. It is a liquid formulation containing high concentrations of natural live Verticillium Lecanii fungus that works as Bio insecticide. It is applied at the time of insect infection which causes death of insects by penetration into pests. It is considered an eco-friendly alternative to chemical insecticides because it is safe for humans, animals, and the environment.

Mode of action:

The mode of action of Verticillium Lecanii is parasitic. The fungus spores germinate and grow on the body of the target insect, absorbing nutrients and ultimately killing it. The dead insect's body becomes a breeding ground for the fungus. New conidia are produced on the surface of the insect's body, and are released to infect other insects. This process continues the cycle of infection and pest control.
